What you feel is life, what you live is another story.

In This Thing Called Love

In the misty spaces that I roam
And the rocky beaches I call home
I sit, and stare, at yesterday
And wish those evil things away.

Lost in time’s strange avenue
Are longing, torrid thoughts of you
I find such distance hard to bear
Yet in that space I feel you there.

My heart has drifted to where you are
My soul has found that lonely star
I beg and plead for love’s reprise
In there I find my mind’s surprise.

I close my eyes just to see
Those lips, those eyes, that destiny
To know this place I’m dreaming of
Is Life, is Hope, in this thing called Love.
